Can you undo a joker swap?
By Jerry Chen. Checked and updated November 1, 2026
Short answer: no
No. Once you have placed your tile on the other player's rack, put it in her fingers, or grasped her joker, the exchange is final.
The detail
The League's 2014 newsletter says you are committed once you have made the exchange, even if the joker is not yet in your hand.
So check that your tile really matches what the joker stands for before you reach.
